Kurbaan

The film based on global terrorism which had Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan in leads had a soulful song, Shukraan Allah. Various parts of this song were shot at the very famous Jama Masjid.

Rang De Basanti

The film has been and will remain in our favourites forever. The thought-provoking movie with the perfect star cast, it was mostly shot in Delhi and the locations could be easily spotted. From Rajpath to India Gate and India Habitat Centre to Lutyens Delhi, the film made a special place in our hearts!

Rockstar

The film starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead had touched many hearts because of the passionate love shown in it. The film was shot at many locations including auditions at Delhi University to Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah in the song, Kun Faaya Kun. Delhi has been portrayed in a lovely way in the film.

Fanaa

The film was a much awaited one when it released, because of Kajol’s comeback in Bollywood. The popular song from the movie, Chand Sifarish, showcases many monuments including Qutab Minar and Rail Mueseum. And did we not totally love the song back then? And even now it’s still fresh in our hearts!

Band Baaja Baraat

The film was a debut of Ranveer Singh and he actually impressed us with his performance. Delhi University, Chhatarpur Farms and North Campus were the main locations of shooting in Delhi. And the film also very genuinely portrayed the craziness and pomp that fills the city during the wedding season!

Delhi 6

The name itself suggests the location of shooting of the film. Although the film was not a successful one, the Delhi-oriented part made us watch the movie. The Delhi Metro, Hanuman Mandir, Jama Masjid and of course the streets of Delhi 6, that is, Chandni Chowk, were very prominently recognizable in the film.

Aisha

The moment when Aisha and her best friends walk through DLF Promenade and DLF Emporio with numerous shopping bags in hands, we instantly imagine ourselves doing the same! The film was a total flop, but the scenes of Delhi won our hearts!
