Known to be one of the Largest Lakes in Bangalore, Ulsoor Lake is widely known for its Greenery and Serenity. Located at the Eastern side of the City, Ulsoor Lake is surrounded by Several Islands dotting it. Locals come here for jogging or enjoyment purposes.

There is a Park, Boat Club and a Swimming Pool inside the premises. Having a radius of about 3 Km, Ulsoor lake is the best for rowing around in a Boat.

The Boat Club provides Boating services where they take visitors around the Lake, and do stop at some of the peaceful islands. Visitors can hire Pedals and Rowboats on per hour basis.

The place is famous for its Various Ancient Temples and narrow streets. Lake gives shelter to different kind of Flowers, Birds and Insects.

The Ulsoor Lake was created by Kempe Godwa. It is said that the border areas of the Lake was once covered with Forests.

The Lake is situated in an area over 123.6 acres and is one of the major Tourist Attraction in Bangalore.

The best time to come here is between August-September as grand celebration of Ganesh Festival is celebrated over here. There are various Fountains which are spread across the places, looks Amazing when switched on.

People can some here throughout the week except on Wednesdays.
