Debuted in 2010 with Salman Khan in the movie Dabbang, actress Sonakshi Sinha turns 28 today. Daughter of the renowned actor Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi began her career in Fashion Designing, but once the Actor stepped into the movies, she didn’t take her foot off the pedal and has done over 20 Movies till now. Before making her debut as an Actor in the movies, Sonakshi started her career in Fashion Designing and has Design clothes in the film ‘Mera Dil Leke Dekho’ in 2005. The Actress has also walked for Lakme Fashion Week in the year 2008 and 2009.
Before making her debut in Dabbang, the actress looked overweight, and wasn’t in a good shape. Bollywood Dabbang Salman Khan insists her to lose weight before making her debut in 2010. Sonakshi lost 30 kgs with Yoga, Swimming And Exercising.
It is learnt that, Sonakshi donated considerable amount of her earning from the movie ‘Dabbang’ to Salman Khan’s NGO ‘Being Human’. She still gives all the credits to Salman Khan for her successful career.
Sonakshi loves to wear Saree since her childhood days, and that is one of the reason why we see her in Sarees in most of her movies. Nose-rings are also one of her favourite accessories.
Drawing sketches and painting are her favourite pastimes. Sonakshi is known to be an excellent painter. In fact, one of her painting was also shown in the movie ‘Lootera’.
