B-Town Fashion Checkpost: Who Nailed And Who Failed At IIFA Night

IIFA Awards is one of the most spectacular and sensational shows of the Indian Film Industry since many years. Always organized in some exotic and dreamy foreign location, IIFA Awards has always been the most awaited award function. From powerful dance performances, celebrities dressed in their best to the entire function itself, IIFA has always been about being magnificent and splendid.

Celebrities and all the other people associated with Bollywood get a chance to flaunt their personal fashion style with abundance of poise, elegance and vivacity! Even after the show ends, people still do not get over the beautiful #FashionGoals set by the celebrities!
Therefore, like every year, this year also, celebrities came with diverse fashion statements and left everybody in awe!

Here is the list of our Best Dressed Celebrities at the IIFA Awards 2017 along with the ones to failed to impress us like others –

Alia BhattThe year 2016 was all about Alia and the same continued at the IIFA too! Apart from winning the Best Actor Female Award (which was extremely deserved by the way!), the talented actress looked ravishing in her embellished gown by Zuhair Murad! If anybody slayed the carpet, it was Alia Bhatt!

Nargis FakhriNargis may not have got much appreciation for her work in movies, but she has always been appreciated for her elegant and classy sense of style. At IIFA too, the actress wore a fitted gown by Gauri and Nainika that also flowed in the correct places! Also, the colour of the gown (dark maroon) looked perfect with her skin tone.

Shilpa ShettyShilpa Shetty totally astonished everybody in her one-shoulder holographic gown by Monisha Jaising! Her body-to-die-for accentuated the beauty of the gown with her makeup and hair totally apt with the attire. And that thigh-high slit gave the gown oodles of ‘Wow’ factor’!

Disha PataniSince her debut this year, Disha Patani has been gaining a lot of attention and appreciation. And the IIFA 2017 just added to her accolades! She looked absolutely gorgeous in her glittery gold attire by Falguni and Shane Peacock. The body chain, sophisticated hairdo and nude makeup justified all the appreciation the actress has been getting!

Katrina KaifHow can we not have the beautiful Katrina Kaif in this list? She has got to be here, owing to her constant flawless sense of style! The actress carried a powder blue coloured glittery gown by Ziad Nakad in the loveliest way! Although, we spotted a resemblance of the gown with the one Aishwarya wore in Cannes 2017, we chose to ignore it because of her gorgeousness!

Neha DhupiaNow this has almost become a ritual for Neha Dhupia to show up at the IIFA every year with an atrocious outfit? Like why? Seriously, we expected a little better than this!

Kalki KoechlinNo matter how much we love this independent and talented woman, but we just cannot ignore what she wore for the IIFA 2017. In a Gucci creation, she looks like a piece of salmon! (and no, we are not exaggerating!)
