Opened in February 2003 with a whooping investment of Rs.10.5 crores, this Park was developed by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, Delhi. Spread across an area of 20 acres of land, it is designed by the Architect Pradeep Sachdeva and constructed within a period of 3 years.

Designed to stimulate your sensory responses to Environment, most of the art-work here is interactive. 25 murals and sculptures set ups makes this place one of the largest collection of public art gallery. Majestic rocks stand silhouetted against sky, others lie speckled upon the ground in an enticing display of nature’s sculptural genius. It was an ideal ground on which to realize the concept of a public relaxation space that would arouse a sensory response and thereby a compassion to the environment.

With soaring stainless-steel birds mounted on slate-clad pillars welcoming you into the Park, the Garden is divided into distinct areas. Khas Bagh on the one hand designed on the pattern of Mughal Garden, there is a food and shopping court on the other side of the walkway. With fragrant and flowering trees and shrubs, one get overwhelmed with the slow moving cascades along the sides of the Garden. There are series of fountains with fibreoptic lighting systems lies in the central axis of the Khas Bagh.

Moving ahead towards the North, a stainless steel sculpture is elevated amongst rocks dancing merrily. A beautiful pool of water lilies with climbing parts of different colours forms the meandering paths of Neel Bagh. You will also get acquainted to an amphitheater and an open exhibition area which displays arts and hold various workshops.

A magnificent amalgamation of fragrances and colours, the place stimulates the sensory responses of an individual to an environment. Located near Qila Rai Pithora (first city of Delhi), massive roads to the gardens can be seen from MB road.
