Call it a famous gourmet locality or a Paradise to Parantha Lovers, the astounding Varieties of Paranthas will make you fall in Love with this delicacy all over again. This “Parantha Lane” is situated amidst the famous Chandani Chowk, where Paranthas have been relished by famous personalities like Panjit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Vijaya Laxmi Pandit etc.

One shall be amazed to know that some of the shops here are run by their Sixth Generation successfully. The popularity of this Street can be accessed from the fact that a famous Mela restaurant in UK has imitated this famous ambience of Delhi lane.

Exotic Varieties of Kaju, Badam, Matar, Rabri, Khoya, Parat and many more Paranthas will bloat away your taste buds with flavours. Generally most of the owners here are Brahmin so the delicacy here is strictly Vegetarian which excludes Garlic and Onion. Only pure Ghee is used for Prantha preparations which mark the distinction of this place. Served with Tamaring chutney, Mixed vegetable Pickle, Potato and Paneer Gravy or Potato and Fenugreek Gravy and Sauteed mash of Sweet Pumpkin, these Paranthas are deep fried in Ghee. Gulp them down with Sweet Lassi (served in Khullar) to make your food experience ultimate.

Established in 1875, this shop claimed to be one of the Oldest Shop in Paranthe Wali Gali. Serving commendable Parathas over 125 years, the Owner Pandit Kahaiyalal used to serve Paranthas in Pattal (disposable plated made from leaves)”and Water in Kullas (mud pots). And this has now become a fashion of the day.
