Purana Qila, also called Old Fort in New Delhi was built under Sher Shah Puri but was completed by Humayun. The ruins and debris of the place is actually its history, which is not as appealing as the scenic lake near the fort but certainly, holds some importance from Indian history.
The lake offers pacific calm, beauty and above all, boat rides near Purana Quila to relax oneself off the ground at the plains of water. One may rest oneself away from the rush and hush of the city and spend a nominal price for a soothing evening. Timings for the boat ride is restricted from morning 7 A.M to 5 P.M and Mondays are off, rest if the weather’s supposedly light and breezy then one must not miss the chance of a tranquil day at the lake with friends or family or loved ones.
